Kettner Fitness is a unique online learning experience for anyone looking to improve their fitness, lose weight, and have more fun. It was designed to provide inspiration, education, and community support. The website was launched to the public in February 2022, but the original ideas and inspiration began to take shape many years before that.
The Early Days
In 2001, Jordan Kettner began taking boxing lessons and looking to improve his overall fitness. Since jump rope can improve your coordination, strength, and stamina, it quickly became his preferred method to train away from the boxing studio.
With Jump Rope, early morning workouts no longer required traveling to the gym, time, or expense. It was much more efficient to work out with a jump rope on the back porch compared to any other available method at the time.
In 2010, Jordan returned to jump rope as his preferred workout routine for weight loss, coordination and strength when he got involved in motorsport and began racing go-karts internationally including Canada, USA, and Italy.
When the Covid-19 Pandemic started in 2020, it destroyed Jordan’s business “Kettner Creative” which provided light and sound for live events in Western Canada.
Through the pandemic, Jordan began skipping rope (again) to lose weight, reduce stress, and improve overall health.
After losing over 42lbs with jump rope, Jordan decided to start kettnerfitness.com.
He wanted to create a single source that had FREE high-quality articles, tutorials, workouts, and an open community discussion forum.
